If you are interested in reducing your carbon footprint, here is a small way to do it. I was introduced to this by a utility company when they were making an energy audit of our home. It helps to cut down on the amount of water you use while working in the kitchen. It is easy to use a quick motion with the side of your palm to stop and start water flow. I got so accustomed to it, that when it finally died after 10 years or so, I felt lost without a replacement. I couldn't find it locally, but did find it via Amazon. Simple to install... just screw it on by hand, and quick and easy to use.

I thought this device would cure a dripping faucet and close off all water flow, but it does not. It will only reduce flow to a trickle.
