Editorial Reviews:
Product Description The Smart Faucet is a simple yet practical device to help you save thousands of gallons of water every year from your bathroom sink. It literally cuts out 100% of any waste water by shutting off when your hands aren't touching it. This means a reduction of water use by 80+%. It also has an easy to use lock mechanism to keep the water on should you need it. The handle/inside parts are NSF 61 compliant. An adapter is included so that it will work on faucets with both male and female threads. It saves water. Children love to use it and those with disabilities really appreciate it. It can pay for itself in a single month of water savings!

Customer Reviews: Be gentle on the chrome model August 19, 2010 Ron & Socorro Zebal (Williamsburg, VA) We live outside Tucson, AZ & need to save water. These are brilliant devices that take only a little getting used to. One piece of advice: Order the nylon model for kids bathrooms. The first chrome model I put in the kids bathroom snapped within 5 minutes when my kids tried too hard to push it the wrong way and got frustrated.
A 5 star practical product. Every sink in America should have one.

Works but... July 29, 2010 Ted D. Hadley 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The lazy man in me thought this would be great. I'd never have to turn on the faucet handle again. But I discovered that it's more trouble than I expected. You have to keep it pushed back to get water out, so it's actually more effort than just turning the water on and off. I eventually got frustrated and removed it.
