Below is a description of each item:
CFL bulbs use 2/3 less the electricity than incandescent bulbs, yet last 8-13 times longer. The 8 bulbs in these kits will save an estimated $70/year in electricity costs (assume $0.10 /kWh).

They are simple to install and can reduce your home water use by 50%, and energy cost of heating the water by as much as 50%.
