Easy to use and extremely flexible July 3, 2009 Kerry 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Not sure why some think this is a hard device to program. I found it very easy and it has a mode to quickly review all my programs just to double check I have it right. This timer has been a life saver since my neighborhood went to water rationing and I can only water from 10:00PM to 6:00AM two days a week. I can set the timer to run 12:00AM to 6:00am in the morning and another cycle at 10:00PM to 12:00AM at night on both my watering days.

We now have three of the Nelson water timers. They are easily programmed and very convenient to use. They have several different ways you can set them to run, and they are worry free.
HAPPY CAMPER July 2, 2009 EARL SCARBOROUGH (RIALTO CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought the Nelson 8 Programmable water timer last summer at a Walmart. This summer I broken it and replaying it through Amazon.com. Best buy I made for a water timer. Sure hard to see the display in dreict sunlight, HEY, that the nature of LCDs. If you need you need to water at multiple times, write it down first. It makes it a whole lot easier. I use the spare outlet to wash my dirty hands, clean the dirt off the newly pick fruits & vegetable, to make plant food like Miracle-Gro,ect, ect.
Excellent water timer July 9, 2009 Karen (Springfield, OR United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This water timer is excellent. It is easy to use and reliable. I have tried other brands and they are not reliable. The second convenience outlet eliminates the need to use a Y attachment. A really nice feature.
Works great April 25, 2009 L. Wuyts (St. Petersburg, FL USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Works great. The only thing I didn't like was that the instructions seemed to say that the mist cycle could be programmed for however long you would like. But it only goes for 3 hours.
