Amazon.com Review If you'd rather have time to sip lemonade than spend time watering your lawn or garden, start thinking about a Melnor Aqua timer. Here's how simple it can be: attach the timer to your hose faucet, turn the water on, and set the timer to automatically shut off, after watering from 15 minutes up to two hours. When time's up, the gentle shut-off valve prevents pipe-banging. That's it! You're free to enjoy a frosty beverage on your deck. This water timer is designed similarly to an egg timer, making it exceptionally easy to use. Two-year limited warranty.

A Real Helper With Your Watering Chores March 14, 2001 Lisa Hall (Stockbridge, GA (Metro Atlanta) United States) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a high quality product for a low price. It is very sturdy and easy to put your confidence in. Our county in Georgia has placed a watering ban where we can only water from 10 pm until 10am on odd numbered days. It is so much easier to turn on your sprinklers at 10pm, setting them to water for 2 hours and FORGET ABOUT IT! Even if you aren't currently under a water ban, keep in mind that the best time to water is at night, when the sun can't dry up the water. This is a great product, I have one for the front yard and one for the back yard!
Great Compact Timer August 29, 2007 William Mullins (Camino, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used mechanical timers before. As soon as this one arrived I connected and began using immediately. I liked its compact size. I noticed after turning the dial to the desired time sequence, in order to change it or quit, you just wind the top counter clockwise to zero or the arrow indicator. I bought two of these and have used them in conjunction with my 10 year old one daily for about 3 weeks. It works reliably as expected. I couldn't be more pleased with the price and the fast delivery.
A Must Have Item December 14, 2007 Fran Rogors (massapequa ,NY USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ordered two and they have served me well all summer. Such a pleasure to have the water go off after I leave for work and not have to worry about overwatering or being late.
Works well, like my other one July 29, 2008 D. Kelly (San Antonio, TX) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this because I thought it would be the same as my other one and it is! Simple, works well, and I haven't had any reliability problems.
