I have installed and used this wonderful rain barrel for about 3 weeks now. Everything works as indicated in the description. I was looking for a water saving device that would "blend" in with my landscape and you would have to be 3 feet away before you knew if this was plastic - if you were looking! I am very pleased and would highly recommend this product. My plants love it - and so do I!!

Great looking rain barrel - the picture doesn't do it justice. Installed it in the morning, just before torrential rain. For what it's worth, within an hour of completing the set-up we had 50 gallons of free water! Love it. As with any rain barrel, take care with the installation process. 50 gallons of water is heavy! You want the barrel raised off the ground - to do that be sure the base it securely set to keep the barrel level. Otherwise, enjoy. Our new barrel sits just outside our 4-seasons sun room. It fits right in with our landscaping. Oh and by the way - it was delivered as promised and in excellant condition.

Barrel was delivered to my doorstep in record time... Easy to assemble...and filled up fast on first rain storm. No leakage around the faucet which is a big plus... Overflow worked great... Sat the barrel on the cement runoff block...and the overflow just went the way it would have if the guttering was all the way down to the ground.
Been told that the screen, in addition to keeping debris out of the water, also keeps mosquitoes from becoming a nuisance. Additionally it's been suggested to wipe the top of the barrel with cooking oil which mosquitoes also avoid...

This is a wonderful product exactly as advertised. Setup was easy and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Only point is that spigot that comes with this barrel is a low flow spigot that will NOT work with soaker hoses. If you want to use this to use a soaker hose for watering, you will need to purchase a high flow spigot to replace the one that comes with this unit.
