I bought these because I often forget to water the plants. This is a life saver and keeps my hanging baskets alive if I forget to water. Granted, they don't look great, but still look pretty good and stay alive until I water them. This has allowed me to go a week between waterings without the plant dieing. The cost versus the cost of replacing the plants makes them a great buy.
