Highly recommended water saver September 12, 2009 Darleen J. Raulerson (Tucson, AZ USA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I researched the many different rain barrels available and became overwhelmed, but kept returning to this one. We were placing it in front of our home and wanted something attractive that would not distract. When it arrived, I was taken back by the color - it is definitely a brown sandstone rather than a gray that is pictured; however, it blends well with our new rock xeriscaping and I am pleased. Easy to install/set-up. The only problem we had was attaching a new flex spout to our existing downspout. Although the same size, the configuration was different and it took many choice words before we got it on and secure. How does it work? EXACTLY like you want. It is wonderful... We added a bilge hose to the overflow valve and that waters an extra plant. Easy to use and we will probably purchase another one for the back yard. Please note - the hose attachment on the bottom is in the FRONT not in the back - an annoyance, but not enough to make a big difference. Will review again in a year...
We love our rain barrel September 28, 2009 DFV (DeBerry, Texas) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I would definitely recommend this product. After searching for quite some time, I purchased my rain barrel from Amazon because they had the lowest price. The barrel is made very well and looks wonderful in front of our home. Everyone has complimented us on how nice it looks. The color of the rain barrel is a light brown and that is not totally clear when you look at the picture online, the picture almost appears as if the barrel is gray. I plan to purchase another one in the very near future.
Great Barrel November 26, 2009 R. L. Wilson 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Happy I selected this Barrel as it doesn't look like a trash can under the downspout. It is very sturdy and is easy to set up. Has a nice bottom drain needed for freeze zones. I only wish they made a larger one, maybe 80-100 gallons.
GREAT RAIN BARREL !! August 4, 2009 Ronald J. Smart (Fairborn, Oh - USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
By far the best deal we found on this barrel anywhere. Well made and fits well in our patio garden. A very nice blend with the surrounding plants. The only complaint is some splattering of the top lid when water is going in but this is of little importance in a rain storm. Hope this Helps. R.J.S.
Rain barrell September 1, 2009 Nanette B. Dennig 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
The rain barrell is really nice. It looks just like photo and is
heavier than we expected. No danger of the wind blowing it over.
Really nice to have spigot on side. We raised ours up with cinder
blocks.
